Arches is a world famous national park that is often representative of Utah. Monolithic red rocks, organ pipe-like sandstone formations, and over 2000 registered arches are spread across the park. Arches is home to the iconic Delicate Arch, which is featured on Utah license plates. Take a couple hours out of your day to drive around the Scenic Drive, which is 36 miles round trip. If you stop to hike a few of the easier trails while on this drive, plan for a half-day trip. The shorter trails are the Park Avenue Trail and the trails in the Windows Section. However, if you want to get the entirety of the Arches experience, it’s best to go for multiple days.
