St. George is one of the locations of the original full-distance Ironman races and is also one of the earliest Ironman 70.3 races of the year. The race is held at Sand Hollow Reservoir – a deep blue lake in the middle of the red sandstone cliffs of Southern Utah. Athletes are taken by bus to the start line from the parking lot. The courses offer stunning views of both St. George and Snow Canyon and is a perfect way to get to know the environment of Southern Utah.
